Music, dances and poetry graced the day yesterday Friday at the Children’s Circle Saltarines of 2000, in Matanzas city, where the provincial cultural gala took place in greeting to the 60th anniversary of the creation of these educational institutions in the country.

Faced with a reduced composition of guests and with strict compliance with the measures established by the covid-19, several educators and a representation of girls and boys demonstrated through these artistic manifestations the skills acquired in the circle.
The award ceremony to a group of young and veteran educators who stand out for their daily performance was the most special moment of the evening, which was attended by the main executives of the Municipal Committee of the Cuban Communist Party (PCC) and the Young Communists League (UJC) and of provincial Education.
Ivonne González, head of early childhood in the territory, highlighted in the simple act the work supported by the nursery schools in this stage of the pandemic and, as she pointed out, this Friday similar activities were carried out in unison in most of the educational institutions of Matanzas .
The directive emphasized that despite the complex epidemiological scenario of the province and the country, the commemorative day for the 60th anniversary of the nursery schools began in 2020 and among the initiatives developed in recent months, the elaboration and exposure of media of teaching and drawing contests with the infants who remain attending the facilities.
She added that the actions for the anniversary included a special tribute to founders and educators with outstanding and long trajectories, as well as promoters of the Educate Your Child Program.
