The day for the victory of April 1961 motivates the culmination of the renovation works of the Girón Memorial Museum, a National Monument, also inspired by the celebration of the International Day of Monuments and Historic Sites.
It is about the establishment, in that heritage institution, founded by Commander in Chief Fidel Castro on April 19th, 1976, of a modern museum style, which includes new technologies, educational games and screens, where capsules will be promoted from April 19th related to the history of the combats of the Cuban people before the mercenary invasion, until achieving the great defeat of imperialism in America, as well as the development that the Zapata Swamp has had, thanks to the Revolution.
