Matanzas is among the territories with the highest rates of incorporation into employment in the country, a trend shown after the start of the Monetary Ordinance Task, the complex process of economic transformation in force since January of this year.
Havana, Santiago de Cuba and this province, in the same order, are the ones with the best percentages in the granting of places, according to a recent tweet shared by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security (MTSS).
The source stated that only in the first 15 days of May, more than 5,900 people went to the municipal Labor and Social Security directorates in search of employment on this island, the main guarantee offered by the Cuban State to its population.
“The impact of the application of the Ordinance Task on the incorporation is very favorable, especially of young people of working age, who have opted for various occupational alternatives both in the state sector and in the non-state sector”, considered Ohysa González Pérez, Deputy Director of Employment in Matanzas.
She highlighted the interest of the inhabitants of this western province to occupy positions in the manufacture of goods and services, a very promising sign, she pointed out, due to its impact on the growth of wealth and on the improvement of the quality of life of people.
González Pérez highlighted the granting of new positions destined to strengthen the completion of the force in agricultural cooperatives and other productive bases, committed to food production.
In Matanzas’ briefcase of offers, the Ministries of Construction and Agriculture, the Sugar Group and the production bases stand out, among others, such as those offered by self-employed workers.
González Pérez specified that places are still being established through offices between the work directorates and the entities, an urgent procedure, he said, to be regularized as part of a system that also makes it possible to manage the needs of judicially sanctioned, detached, demobilized from the Military Service, university graduates , middle technicians or other segments.
Very recently, TrabajarEnCuba, a computer tool that allows employers in all sectors to publish and update their employment needs, came into operation.
