Institutions of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) in this province received the status of Collective in Victoria and the Merit to Humanism, Sensitivity and Solidarity seal, the best of the tributes regarding July 26th, National Rebellion Day.
The Cuba Trade Workers Union (CTC) in Matanzas properties and the Health union granted the incentives to the José Ramón López Tabranes Gynecological and Obstetric Hospitals, Comandante Faustino Pérez, Eliseo Noel Caamaño Pediatric Hospital, the University of Medical Sciences and the International Clinic of Varadero .
Present at all moments of the reverence, the General Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the CTC, Osmar Ramírez Ramírez, described as a day of deep emotion the meeting with managers and employees of this network of assistance centers, with a leading role in the fight to save lives and defeat COVID-19.
Ramírez Ramírez meant the incessant battle for health personnel in 16 months of confrontation with the pandemic, since his arrival in the province in March 2020. “Many heroes and heroines have this battle,” he stressed. “We will never forget those who unfortunately lost their lives while saving others,” he said.

After receiving the two awards, Dr. José Hernández, director of the Pediatric Hospital, stated: “We are sure that we will be victorious in this difficult stage of confrontation with SARS-CoV-2, which every day demands the best of each of the leaders and all the staff ”.
The prestigious physician stressed that “on a historic date like this July 26th, we ratified the commitment to defend the Revolution. Count on us”.

With the delivery of the Collective status in Victoria, and the Merit to Humanism, Sensitivity and Solidarity seal, the Yumurino trade union movement culminated its day on July 26th, National Rebellion Day, an event that also called for the holding of morning specials and productive jobs in the organoponics of the 13 municipalities.
