Young people from Matanzas join the FEU.

On the morning of Tuesday, February 13th, the act of joining the Federation of University Students (FEU) took place with a caravan of students and professors from the University of Matanzas to the fortress museum El Morrillo.

In the historic battery of Matanzas´s coast, site where the revolutionary Antonio Guiteras fell in combat, students of continuous years received awards for their work in the oldest young organization in Cuba.

As part of the day, the Career Day was also held in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, an activity that took place in the Julio Antonio Mella Theater of the House of Higher Studies.

Humberto Fuentes Rodríguez, journalism student and head of the literature section of the Hermanos Saíz Association, highlighted the importance of activities such as these for the interaction between students from various careers, as well as the integration into university life.
