Industriales defeats Matanzas for the second time.

This Friday, the Leones de Industriales defeated the Cocodrilos de Matanzas for the second consecutive time with a score of two runs to zero.
Industriales left Matanzas without scoring once again. They have now gone 18 consecutive innings without going home, a worrisome negative streak despite the potential strength of the Atenas de Cuba’s battery.
The Yumurina offense is missing after 24 runs in the first two games at the Latin American Stadium.
In yesterday’s game, Armando Ferrer’s Reds only gave up five hits against the blue pitching staff and left seven runners on base.
For the Industrialist offense, the designated player Walter Abreu was 3-2 with a double and one run batted in.
The victory went to Cienfuegos right-hander Islay Santiago Sotolongo, while Juan Xavier Peñalver earned his fourth save of the season. Eriel Carrillo took the loss.
In spite of the two consecutive defeats, Matanzas continues at the top of the table of the second Elite League of Cuban Baseball, now with 19 smiles and 13 failures, being its closest pursuer Artemisa with a balance of 17 and 15.
