October is here and once again Matanzas is getting ready to celebrate young literature with a new edition of the Aldabon Literary Award on October 4th and 5th.
Organized by the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS) and the Aldabón Publishing House, the event will pay tribute on this occasion to poet Alfredo Zaldívar.
The meeting will also host book presentations with the presence of prominent authors such as Malena Salazar, Lorelisette García, Náthaly Hernández Chávez, Guillermo Carmona and Raúl Piad.
With spaces such as the Peña Los Grafómanos on Wednesday and La Hora de Aldabón and Azares del Arquero on Thursday, this 2023 edition of the Award will also seek to discuss young Matanzas narrative, the poetic work of Zaldívar and share the literary work of the associates of the literature section of the AHS in the territory.
On Thursday, the awards ceremony will also take place, in the Narrative section, as well as the Alfredo Zaldívar Honor Award and the La calle de Rimbaud awards to the best-selling books under the Aldabón label.
As a tribute to literature in Matanzas, the new edition of the Aldabón Prize will take place.
