Cientex Matanzas calls for international workshop Varadero, Digital City.
As part of the activities of the III International Scientific Event University – Society 2024, the Scientific and Technological Park of Matanzas (Cientex) and the University of Matanzas invite all those interested to participate in the II International Workshop on Digital Transformation of Tourist Destinations Varadero, Digital City.
According to information shared through the digital platforms of Cientex, this event is aimed at entities, companies, researchers and entrepreneurs and aims to promote the exchange of initiatives, solutions developed and results obtained regarding the digital transformation of the organizational environments of the participants.
Those interested in participating should submit papers on various topics, such as technological solutions that have an impact on government decision-making processes, the optimal use of means of transportation, communication routes and emergency services, or that promote the creation of an environmentally friendly community.
The Varadero project, an approach to the digital city, which has been underway since June 2022, aims to transform the country’s main sun and beach tourist destination into a digital city by 2025.
