In view of the growing challenges facing our country, the highest Antillean leadership emphasizes the municipalities as epicenters of the Island’s socioeconomic development. In this scenario, the implementation of initiatives that enhance the improvement, durability and resilience of the economy is advocated and, therefore, provide an answer to the main needs of each community for a more prosperous and sustainable future.

On the other hand, Magaly Reyes Roldán, director of the municipal branch, pointed out that the close link that must prevail between institutions such as the university, the entities and the political and governmental authorities is key to materialize effective proposals in line with the territorial development strategy.
