Branch 3461 of the Credit and Commerce Bank  in the city of Matanzas now has solar panel service, with a capacity of two kilowatts, which allows it to guarantee basic operations even during power outages.

According to Yamil Benítez, the branch director, eighteen machines are currently connected and initial technical tests are being conducted.

The goal is to have approximately twenty-five units operational, which will allow the branch to remain fully operational and offer all its services.

With this installation, customers can make deposits in foreign currency, transfer funds between cards, and access other banking services that were previously unavailable during power outages.

The director noted that the system has been very well received, especially among retirees, who frequently faced difficulties collecting their pensions due to power outages. With the new system, they will be able to collect their payments without any problems.

The incorporation of this technology represents a significant advantage for both the institution and its users, ensuring continuity of service and stability in financial services.
