This beginning in Yucayo marks the first step of a process that, as the organizers emphasized, has «a long way to go» with the aspiration of reaching the national level, taking the technical solutions of EMBER Matanzas to higher levels.

The science and technology forum of the Beverages and Soft Drinks Subsidiary Company, EMBER Matanzas, began its current edition this Wednesday from its base: the Basic Business Unit (UEB) Ronera Yucayo, with the presentation of technical solutions that already bring real benefits to production.

Two teams of innovators and rationalizers from Yucayo presented four works, highlighted by their immediate application in the production lines and their tangible results. Among them is a solution that has significantly reduced production costs and raw material consumption.

This achievement, as explained at the forum, translates directly into a reduction in the final price for the population, benefiting the consumer.

Another innovation presented addresses the challenge of underutilization of equipment. By taking advantage of the available aging tanks, it avoids their deterioration caused by lack of use during periods of raw material shortage. This measure not only preserves assets, but also optimizes existing resources.

The recovery of three tanks and two coal reactors was also a highlight. This equipment, vital to the production process, was put into efficient operation two months ago, demonstrating the practical impact of the innovators’ movement solutions.

Finally, the construction of a moniflor specifically adapted to the types of containers used in the factory was presented, a tailor-made solution to improve filling efficiency.

By meeting the established technical conditions, these four works of the UEB Ronera Yucayo have obtained the pass to the next science and technology forum at the company level. They will wait there for the rest of the UEBs of EMBER Matanzas to hold their respective basic forums.
