Governor of Matanzas gives an account of his administration.

Rinde cuentas de su gestión Gobernador de Matanzas 

In the presence of the member of the Central Committee and first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in Matanzas, Susely Morfa González, and the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Marta Elena Feitó Cabrera, the governor of the province, Mario Sabines Lorenzo, rendered an account of his administration before the Governing Council of the province.

Through a report that outlined in detail the achievements and dissatisfactions of the work developed in the sphere, Sabines Lorenzo referred to his performance in the direction of vital programs for the socioeconomic development of the province.

 

Guaranteeing the feeding of the people in all areas, with emphasis on milk, the delivery of beef and pork, the fulfillment of housing construction plans, the achievement of higher numbers of incorporation of young people to teaching careers, as well as stopping the exodus of teachers, are among the priorities set forth by the government leader and ratified by the commission in charge of ruling on the Governor’s proposals.

On behalf of the municipalities, presidents of municipal governments and mayors valued as positive the management of the head of government, while they pondered the priority lines to which solutions should be sought as far as possible in all the territories of Matanzas.

During the analysis, the importance of continuing to promote foreign investment and exports in order to achieve economic solvency throughout Matanzas was discussed.

 

In her conclusions, Susely Morfa González emphasized the dedication to work that characterizes the Governor, while making recommendations with the precept that in Matanzas there can be no unattended problems, for the sake of pertinent solutions.
