Casting for youth teleplay held in Pedro Betancourt.

The teleplay La leyenda del Lince (The Legend of the Lynx), whose casting was recently completed at the Instituto Preuniversitario Dionisio Morejón Morejón, in Pedro Betancourt municipality, will deal with various themes concerning Cuban youth.

Sponsored by the Municipal Directorate of Culture, the production is scripted by José de Jesús Campos Pacheco, researcher of Local History at the Gustavo González Pérez museum in the territory and also author of the literary work of the same name on which this audiovisual material will be based. Campos Pacheco commented about his work.

Also, twelve grade students Gabriela Blanco Torres and Alberto Vázquez Rivero and tenth grade students Zaharis Segura Mestre shared their experiences during the auditions with Radio 26  broadcasting station.

To La leyenda del Lince will join other teleplays that will not only represent an opportunity for the acquisition of new actors, but also a stimulus to the fertile artistic talent of the new generations in Pedro Betancourt.
