The city of San Carlos and San Severino de Matanzas, on the eve of the 330th anniversary of its foundation, will have a new Digital Self-Service Station within the City Conservator’s Office.
The sixth station of the Matanzas Scientific and Technological Park, is part of a local development project of the municipality and constitutes a viable alternative to provide free advice on the use of new technologies and their use, according to Diego Castilla Cabrera, president of the park, explained.
«The Station has the mission to serve the people and the first benefit for the people of Matanzas is the impulse towards their individual digital transformation; essential to move the province and the country forward,» he assured.
In the space, which will be inaugurated on October 11th, users will be able to carry out banking, financial and e-commerce transactions. They will have the facility to request procedures related to the Ministry of Justice and others of a tax nature; as well as actions related to the establishment of digital relations with local and central authorities through the use of applications for mobile devices such as (Apk)Presidencia Cuba.
The Digital Self-Service Station not only helps the user to carry out the procedure, but also provides guidance and training so that he/she can do it from the comfort of his/her home. Likewise, during its first year of life, this space will facilitate a study of the impact of the services to the population and of the sustainable business model.
All these services have the support and experience of the Taxpayer Facilitation Office, attached to the Office of the Historian of Havana.
