After almost four months without playing at their headquarters, Los Cocodrilos return home, this time against the Leñadores de Las Tunas in the Elite League, precisely the last rival they faced at the Victoria de Girón in the last National Baseball Series.
The previous encounter in Matanzas, last Wednesday, November 15th, ended sealed in the second inning due to problems with the electric lighting in the towers of the José Antonio Huelga stadium in the state of Espiritu.
The Cocodrilos are in fourth place in the tournament with a negative balance of three wins and four losses, while those of the Balcon del Oriente, current champions of the domestic classic, are in last place with three wins and five losses.
The clashes will take place today, Friday 17th, Saturday 18th and Monday 20th at 6:30 pm, while Sunday 19th will be at 1:30 pm.
Key factors will be the performance of the defense, which has been erratic in general at the beginning of the League, and the contribution of men such as Rusney Castillo and Andrys Perez, who are in excellent shape in the batting box, will also be important.
