The highest local authorities emphasized the need to comply responsibly with the precepts of the Code.
With the premise of strengthening the values that sustain the conduct and performance of those who assume the construction of the socialist society, the political and governmental authorities of the Betancourt territory came together to sign the Code of Ethics of the Cadres of the Cuban Revolution.
The document, according to Louserelis Valle Mestre, member of the municipal bureau of the Party, urges to preserve the revolutionary conquests, at the same time that it highlights the moral commitment of its signatories as public servants of the people they represent.

The central words were in charge of Royslán Cámbara Sosa, first secretary of the Party in the locality, who enunciated some of the main values that the cadres of the Island must carry in order to guarantee a correct political direction and governmental management at the service of the nation.

In commemoration of the 129th anniversary of the resumption of our struggles for independence, the signing of the Code of Ethics of the Cadres of the Cuban Revolution, whose ceremony was replicated in the national territory, became a starting point to extol the preponderant role of the political cadres in the construction of a prosperous and sustainable socialism.
