For the third consecutive year, the institutional website of the Gaviota Tourism Business Group has won the OX International Award in the Tourism and Leisure category, a prize that consolidates its leadership in the promotion of the leisure industry in Cuba.
This new triumph highlights Gaviota’s dedication to offer an attractive, functional and enriching digital platform, based on innovation, user experience and content quality.
This recognition encourages us to continue innovating to provide an increasingly complete and memorable digital experience,» Leonardo Acosta, Gaviota’s communications director, told Trabajadores.
He added that this result is the result of the work of a team of professionals, made up of content creators, designers, developers and communication specialists, all committed to show the best of Cuba to the world.
«From Gaviota we thank everyone who has been part of this project: collaborators, professionals and, especially, our users, whose interaction and trust motivate us to keep improving,» Acosta reiterated.
Presented in 2021 on the occasion of the Group’s 33rd anniversary celebrations, it is striking that, being so young, this website has accumulated three such triumphs, a tacit demonstration of the commitment of its creators to maintain or surpass this optimal symbiosis between text and form.
Instituted since 2002 by the Spanish publishing house OX, these honorary prizes are awarded in the categories of economy and work, leisure and tourism, science and technology, art and literature, humanities, sports, IT and Internet.
They are intended to weight websites of organizations and governments, in news, press, radio and TV, education and learning, evaluating creativity, usability, navigability, search engine positioning and quality of the content of the participating websites, as well as the qualitative approach to interesting and relevant aspects of the countries or institutions they represent.
