In the middle of the winter season, the period of greatest demand for Cuban tourist services, the Meliá Las Antillas hotel is focusing on the attention to its workers, knowing how much this affects quality.
«With joy Meliá Las Antillas reopens this afternoon its Cafeteria and Rest Area for workers,» announced in his Facebook profile Yoel Luis Hernández Lantigua, deputy general manager of the Vanguardia Nacional hotel, for its excellent economic and union results.
Aware of how much success lies in the management of the workforce, Meliá Las Antillas executives emphasize how to optimize the link with internal customers, to whom we also «celebrate collective birthdays, stimulate them and take care of their personal problems,» said the secretary general of the union bureau, Estrella Patricia Sánchez Berrio.
Standing out in the famous Playa Azul beach for the celebration of Cuban days, a space that enhances the traditions and symbols of the country, renovated in its structure, comfort and with a high occupancy rate, Meliá Las Antillas welcomed the winter season, from November to April, when Cuba receives its main flows of foreign visitors and also income from the exportation of services.
The hotel is 24 years old, an age it defends as a true gladiator in times when tourism in Cuba requires innovating day by day to deal with the limitations of material resources.
Precisely that way of understanding tourism, of raising it to other dimensions from the qualitative as the main ally, earns a special recognition to the Cubanacan hotel, a leading chain in the satisfaction of visitors who choose the Varadero destination, according to a recent report by the Ministry of Tourism in Matanzas.
