Very close to May Day, International Workers’ Day, to learn about the integral development plans Lazo Hernández visited sites of economic and social relevance, accompanied by Mario Sabines Lorenzo, first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in the territory and other local political and governmental authorities.

At the Empresa Agroindustrial de Granos Matanzas, in Calimete, the president of the Cuban Parliament highlighted that the province has potentialities, dryers and areas to boost import substitution, and insisted on looking at the plans with a vision of priority and contracting everything that is produced.

Also on Thursday, Lazo Hernandez exchanged with workers of the Jesús Sablón Agroindustrial Sugar Company, known as Rabí; the Vladimir Ilich Lenin Agricultural and Livestock Company, and at a special moment he gave a clear greeting to Reinaldo Castro, National Hero of Labor.

In the municipality of Limonar, he arrived at the Empresa Pecuaria Genética de Matanzas (EPGM), with more than half a century of existence, where he called to grow in physical productions, and to overcome the technical force to overcome the economic challenges of the country with will.
