Political and governmental authorities from the province and the territory converged at the headquarters of the Pedro Betancourt Municipal Party Bureau to ensure the effective implementation of the study and analysis process of the government’s projections for correcting distortions and revitalizing the economy, to be carried out from November 15th to 30th.
With the presence of central party officials and representatives of the Young Communist League (UJC), the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power, and the Association of Combatants, the necessary actions were outlined to guarantee the active participation of all grassroots organizations in the process.
During the discussion, Pablo Santana Ramírez, a member of the Provincial Party Bureau, emphasized the need for a thorough study of the Government Program in order to strengthen its implementation in every forum for debate.
He insisted that a comprehensive understanding of the document will allow for its effective defense and application, while also highlighting the importance of linking the Permanent Commission on Economy to its implementation and the validity of the Guidelines for Economic and Social Policy as a guide for its execution.
On the other hand, Lourdes Sarmiento Díaz, Coordinator of Programs and Objectives for the Provincial Government, acknowledged the comprehensiveness of the document and the relevance of its key points, emphasizing, among others, macroeconomic stabilization, the increase in exportable goods, support for vulnerable populations, the recovery of the national power grid, and food production.
Likewise, Yoledsy Perdomo Robaina, an official from the Provincial Party Committee, highlighted the importance of supporting the event with a communications strategy that facilitates training and garners public support. She noted that transparency, conscious mobilization, patriotism, and sovereignty must be pillars of this approach, along with visual and emotional communication that strengthens the preservation of socialism.
The success of the exercise, officials added, will depend on the rigorous preparation of the general secretaries, cadres and leaders who will conduct it, who will be in charge of the debate in the municipal assemblies and the management and administration councils, as well as in the grassroots structures of the Party, the UJC and the mass organizations.
