Congratulations to Hotel and Tourism Workers on Their Day.

«The Ministry of Tourism extends its recognition to the men and women of the Cuban hotel and tourism industry. To those who know the value of a smile and put their heart into making every trip to Unique Cuba unforgettable.»

A message of congratulations to hotel and tourism workers on March 4th, the sector’s day, was conveyed by Manuel Marrero Cruz, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba and Prime Minister.

«Our recognition and sincere congratulations on your day. Your commitment and professionalism are also part of the attractions that distinguish and make Cuba a unique destination,» he wrote on his social media account.

Service providers in this strategic source of foreign currency for the Cuban economy also received words of praise from the Minister of Tourism (MINTUR), Juan Carlos García Granda.

«MINTUR extends its recognition to the men and women of the Cuban hotel and tourism industry. To those who know the value of a smile and put their heart into making every trip to Unique Cuba unforgettable,» he expressed.

Julio Enrique Morales Verea, general secretary of the National Union of Hotel and Tourism Workers, praised the performance of the hundreds of members in a sector that continues to rely on them to cope with this difficult situation caused by President Donald Trump’s executive order.

Morales Verea expressed to the newspaper Trabajadores his confidence in administrative and union leaders, as well as the workforce, to face the new challenges, at a time when, he noted, the optimal management of these human resources is essential.

Special morning assemblies are being held in the hotel and non-hotel operations to honor the merit of those who carry out their duties with professionalism.

Beautiful messages of gratitude are being left on the company’s Facebook profiles by clients, primarily from Canada, eager to reunite with the workers who make them feel at home.
