The centrally located Coppelia ice cream parlor in Matanzas reopened its doors this Saturday after months of closure, mainly due to the instability of raw materials.
The entity receives today the Coppelia brand ice cream produced in Havana and noted for its quality and high demand in the summer months, mainly.
The price of the scoop is 14.00 pesos national currency, making it one of the most economical options in the city of Matanzas. In addition, it is possible to pay through the En Zona platform, as well as in cash.
According to the administrative staff, through management and linkages with other companies, it is possible to transport the ice cream from the Cuban capital to Matanzas three times a week and maintain the stability of the product.
However, this will not be the definitive solution, since in the coming months the supplies for the start-up of the Nevada ice cream production line, based in the municipality of Cárdenas, will be guaranteed.
This is vital, not only to meet the demands of the population, but also for the income of the workers of this entity that when the ice cream parlor does not work may be interrupted or must be relocated to other work centers.
The challenges of the Matanzas ice cream parlor remain and they are to guarantee the stability of the product and to provide the quality service that the people need.
