In Calimete first Municipal Conference 22nd CTC Congress.
The process of municipal conferences 22nd Congress of the Cuban Workers’ Central of Cuba (CTC) in the province of Matanzas will begin next May 16th in the territory of Calimete.
The process of municipal conferences of the 22nd Congress of the Cuban Workers’ Central Union (CTC) in the province of Matanzas, the most important meeting of the trade union movement in those areas, will begin on May 16th in the territory of Calimete.
Calimetenses will arrive at the relevant event after the celebration of the balances in the union sections and bureaus, where it was demonstrated that «the organization is still necessary, protagonist and very useful,» said the secretary general of the provincial CTC, Osmar Ramirez Ramirez.
Ramirez said that in Calimete it was reiterated the fact that the most important thing is to make the Congress happen in the labor collectives, where the union management and place of transformation of the raw material is really materialized, he said.
The maximum union leader in Matanzas evaluated the transcendence of this space, just for happening in the municipalities, where it is decided today, he valued, the economic and social life of the people, workers and families in need of rectifying everything that is possible in the generation of goods and services, so that the offers grow and inflation decreases.
These municipal conferences take place in the year of the 85th anniversary of the founding of the CTC, an organization founded on January the 28th, 1939, and will provide an in-depth assessment of the union performance in the last five years in Calimete, a transcendental territory for its sugar and rice production potential.
The Jesús «Rabí» Sablón sugar company has led the production of the sweet grain in Matanzas, an equally positive balance in recent times of rice sowing and harvesting, say CTC leaders.
With fruitful days of volunteer work in sugar cane planting, especially in areas of the Ernesto Guevara Basic Unit of Cooperative Production, in the territory they greet the Municipal Conference, while continuing the tours by the sugar cane platoons in support of the sugar cane harvest.
