Health professionals made the partial conclusions of the First International and Virtual Nursing Meeting 2023, together with the Technology and Innovation Event, held in the province of Matanzas.
For the more than 300 participants, the event resulted in learning, patterns, experiences and new opportunities for the men and women who play an important role in patient care at all levels of Public Health in the current context.
Arahi Sixto Perez, dean of the Lidia Doce School of Nursing, affirmed: «In addition to pride, it is a commitment to work more and better with new knowledge that implies the development of science in order to gain space for the needs of the sick population.
Similarly, Norberto Varcancel Izquierto, doctor of sciences, full professor of the University of Medical Sciences of Havana, pointed out the need to train in each academy better human beings beyond the existing literate standards, especially in professions that are linked to the care of life.
Likewise, a call was made to promote the development of teachers and nurses who do science in everyday language, with spaces to develop specialties, master’s degrees and doctorates.
The event continues virtually next week, an extension that will undoubtedly enrich the First International and Virtual Nursing Meeting 2023.
