Matanzas delegates to the FMC Congress visit Junco Palace (+photos) .
The delegates of the municipality of Matanzas to the XI Congress of the FMC visited the different rooms of the Palacio de Junco Museum, as part of the activities prior to the conclave, to be held in Havana on March 7th and 8th.
«This visit has allowed me to learn about the history and culture of the city of Matanzas, as well as the participation of women in the history of the Homeland, all this to continue raising my commitment to the Revolution,» said Ismary Lara Espina.
«This tour allowed me to travel to our roots, to the moments lived by women and men of the city in past centuries,» said Lydiana Torres Rodriguez.
«This makes us understand the need to continue fighting,» said Liudmila Arias Rodriguez.
«It has been spectacular. It gave us the possibility to remember the living history of Matanzas, to know where we come from and where we are going.
«This knowledge allows us to arrive at the XI Congress stronger. We will bring to the event the problems of Yumurian women, with the same firmness with which our ancestors wrote the pages of our history,» said Lorena Mireya Cruz Bello.
The tour in which the general secretary of the FMC in the municipality of Matanzas, Cruz Bello, participated, will include the industrial zone of the city, the Pharmaceutical Museum and the Gener y del Monte library, where they will learn about the social purpose of the entities and the history they treasure.
