After a gradual process of revival of administrative entities, constructive renovation and beautification of local institutions, the «Bolondrón» Popular Council hosted the celebration of the municipal event for the 71st anniversary of the assault on the «Moncada» and «Carlos Manuel de Céspedes»garrisons.
After a gradual process of revival of administrative entities, constructive renovation and beautification of local institutions, the «Bolondrón» Popular Council hosted the celebration of the municipal event for the 71st anniversary of the assault on the «Moncada» and «Carlos Manuel de Céspedes»garrisons.
The event gathered the highest political and governmental authorities of the territory, cadres, officials and directors of the different political and mass organizations who, together with the people of Bolondón, paid homage to the events of 1953, to the martyr Félix Rivero Vasallo and to the historical transcendence of the «July 26th» Revolutionary Movement.
In commitment with the continuity of the Antillean revolutionary project, students and workers from different sectors received the card that accredits them as militants of the Young Communists League and the Party, respectively, and several labor groups were honored for their dedication and contributions to the economic and social progress of the town.
The demarcation, which deserved to host the celebration thanks to its outstanding work in favor of community sanitation, social care and families in vulnerable situations, as well as food production and local development, was also the scene for an emotional political-cultural gala at the «Néstor Ulloa» cultural center and a recreational proposal for the residents of the 34th district.
Likewise, the drawing project for children «Tizas sobre Asfalto» was dedicated to the iconic date in the «Manuelito» Popular Council and, in response to the concerns of the population and as a contribution to the improvement of their quality of life, the stomatological infrastructure was improved in the «Güira de Macuriges» Popular Council, according to Mardiel Surí González, vice president of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power.
Likewise, the instructors Oriannys Rolo and Leyanis Fonseca and members of the «Rubén Martínez Villena» Municipal Literature Workshop enlivened with their art the activity that, in honor of the 49th anniversary of the constitution of the National Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired and the National Rebellion Day itself, took place in the «María Villar Buceta» cultural center of the city.
