The highest authorities highlighted the role of the delegates in the supervision and support of government decisions, in order to strengthen the collaboration between the territorial leadership and the people to face the challenges the nation is going through.
The presidents of the People’s Councils of Pedro Betancourt municipality devoted a timely meeting to the search for alternatives to the current energy contingency and the effective implementation of the exercise against corruption, illegalities and under-declarations to the treasury of self-employed workers in their different modalities.
With the participation of Royslán Cámbara Sosa, first secretary of the Party in the town, those present discussed the main actions to be developed to ensure the availability of basic services to the population and expressed the importance of strengthening the vigilance groups for the detection and prevention of possible irregularities in the work of the non-state sectors of the economy.
Besides, Yonel Estrada Ramírez, president of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power, pointed out the tasks to be carried out by the body in the remainder of the year in order to achieve greater organization and effectiveness in the controls and audits of the local subordinate entities, to strengthen the attention to vulnerable groups and health institutions and to carry out the popular fairs in honor of the upcoming 66th anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution.
