Rhythm and talent in Varadero Josone.

The fourth edition of the Varadero Josone Festival: Rumba, Jazz & Son 2024 experienced a magical night last August the 22nd, with a lineup of artists that left an indelible mark on the attending public.

The fourth edition of the Varadero Josone Festival: Rumba, Jazz & Son 2024 experienced a magical night last August 22nd, with a lineup of artists that left an indelible mark on the attending public. The event, held in Varadero’s picturesque Josone Park, brought together great exponents of Cuban music in an evening full of rhythm and talent.

Los Muñequitos de Matanzas, with their unmistakable rumba, opened the night, transporting the audience to the deepest roots of Afro-Cuban music.

While the group Espirales, accompanied by talented guests Germán Velazco and Orlando Valle «Maraca», offered a performance that fused jazz and son, highlighting the versatility and richness of Cuban sonority.

The fresh and contemporary style of Toques del Río, made the audience vibrate with their proposal of traditional and modern rhythms.

The presentation of charismatic salsa singer Issac Delgado and his orchestra had everyone dancing to his energetic salsa, demonstrating why he is one of the greats of Cuban music.

And to close the night Charly & Johayron, with an electrifying performance, fusing rhythms and styles that kept the audience on their feet until the last moment.

The Varadero Josone Festival: Rumba, Jazz & Son 2024 continues to consolidate itself as one of Cuba’s most important musical events, celebrating the diversity and richness of Cuban music in a unique setting. The day of August 22nd was a clear example of the quality and talent that this festival brings together year after year.
