Rosmery Santiesteban Lago, second secretary of the Cuban Women Federation in the country, urged to improve the work of this organization in an interchange with the members of the House of Orientation for Women and the Family in Pedro Betancourt municipality.
The meeting became a space for dialogue about the implementation of the Code of Ethics of the cadres of the Cuban Revolution and the importance of their self-preparation, as well as the important role of women in the current Cuban society.
Santiesteban Lago pointed out the need for ideological strengthening and training of the federates, as well as the improvement of social work in the organization and the constant link that should prevail between the organization and the community. She also emphasized issues such as preventive work and the economic battle.
Likewise, Arlén González Luis, member of the Municipal Bureau of the Party, highlighted the work of the cadres and the preparation, competence and responsibility that must characterize their work in pursuit of the improvement of the Federation and its interaction with society.
Also in attendance were Odalis García Pérez and Johanys Hernández Orihuela, provincial and municipal secretaries of the Cuban Women Federation , respectively, as well as their counterparts in the territories of Jovellanos, Ciénaga de Zapata and Jagüey Grande.
