The family, the key to children’s education.

The International Day of Families is celebrated on May 15th every year to raise awareness of their fundamental role in the upbringing of children, from early childhood onwards, and the lifelong learning opportunities that exist for infants.

Although its concept has transformed in recent decades in line with constantly evolving trends, the mission to guide, protect and teach has not changed at all.

We understand that families are fundamental for children to receive a loving upbringing and to develop the skills they need to be part of society. But it goes beyond biological issues, it represents a responsible adult with whom there are emotional ties and who is a reference point for the child.

A family is much more than solving basic needs, such as food and clothing, as it has a great impact on social and emotional development. It is there that we acquire the necessary practices to face life as adults, the way to see the world, to act, to think, to behave and to value life and that of others.

With the vertiginous advance of technology, sometimes more important things are neglected, such as minors who surf the internet for hours on end, flooded with content that is as varied as it is harmful for a certain age, and this is where the family has a leading role to play, acting as a guide to age-appropriate content and therefore watching over children’s screen time, which will never be a substitute for healthy recreational activities.

We are convinced that in order to achieve the integral development of a child, it is essential that they grow up in a family environment, where affection, respect, care, love and protection allow them to develop fully until they achieve an independent life.
