«Matanzas locals already know it. It is an open water event in which we are proud to have our Matanzas club, the Crocodiles club, participating with all ages. I do not want to fail to mention Rogelio’s group and we have very famous clubs in Havana that we are proud to have, such as the Accumulated Youth, where there are people with 80 years old who come to swim for that event. Mayita Cordobés, daughter of the great Ramón Cordobés, who is 80 years old and is participating in the event, will also come.»
Those who wish to participate will be able to do so in race sections ranging from 750 meters to ten kilometers. In addition, there will be a category for people with disabilities, both physical and mental, and other parallel events such as a dominoes tournament and the race called «The Beer Mile».
