Zero Waste Contest Called for.

 

The National Institute of Water Resources (INRH) announces the Zero Waste Photography Contest in honor of World Environment Day.

The 2023 edition of the contest, organized by the Grupo Agua Amiga de las niñas y niños, will award the best photographs that show how the vital liquid is lost and wasted in different parts of the country.

Participants may submit photographs taken with digital cameras, cell phones or other means available to them as long as the images are not altered or manipulated.

Likewise, up to three photos per author, whether they are part of a series or not, must be in digital format or printed on photographic paper and identified by consecutive numbers.

Printed images must be eight by 12 inches and must be sent in a sealed envelope with the entrant’s pseudonym and the number on the back of the envelope.

Likewise, those submitted in digital format must be delivered on a CD at 300 pixels per inch resolution with the numerical identification on the file and a pseudonym on the CD cover.

The participants will be able to deliver their works in the Provincial Delegation of Hydraulic Resources of Matanzas, located in San Vicente Final Street, Reparto Camilo Cienfuegos of this city of Matanzas.

The deadline for the Zero Waste Photography Contest closes on August 10th and children, teenagers and young people between 8 and 25 years of age may participate.
