Fidel’s Ashes Passed by (+photos).

The city of Matanzas pays tribute to the passing of the ashes of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz by recalling the journey.

With a pilgrimage that began near the Sports School of the city, young people and combatants, members of the ranks of the Young Communists League and the Party marched to the central Plaza de la Vigía.

The march commemorates the seventh anniversary of Fidel’s death, when his ashes traveled the route of the Caravan of Freedom, from Havana to Santiago de Cuba.
