Grupo Gaviota shows its attractions in Canada.
At the end of November of this year, 780,120 Canadian tourists had vacationed on the island, with Varadero and Cayo Santa María as the main destinations.
Organized by Sunwing Vacations, some 200 travel advisors and industry partners in Canada came to The Arlington Estate in Vaughan, Ontario, to learn about Gaviota Tourism Group’s updates.
Dave Wright, Sunwing Vacations’ Director of Sales for Ontario and the Atlantic, acknowledged the benefits of Gaviota, which covers all tourist destinations in Cuba, being the largest hotel group in the Greater Antilles, with 144 hotels and villas, and 42,071 rooms.
In addition to its six brands and properties, it includes Gaviota Blu’s international partner brands. «You all know these brands and love them,» Wright said, as posted on his Facebook social network account by noted academic José Luis Perelló.
Gaviota is focused on ensuring that visitors enjoy «authentic experiences, real value and meaningful connections,» Wright said.
Flagship property renovations and strategic new hotel openings, plus, of course, enhanced guest experiences and new service concepts, herald a 2024-2025 tourism upswing for Gaviota.
In 2025, Gaviota will inaugurate «a new era in Cuban hospitality, combining authentic experiences with modern luxury,» in that commitment to maintain solid connections with its partners in the Canadian travel industry and travelers, Wright said.
