With a significant impact on the socioeconomic development of Pedro Betancourt municipality, the cooperative production project La finca de Soto stands out as one of the most successful proposals to guarantee food sovereignty and self-sufficiency in this locality.
Its main promoter, producer Rubén Soto Valdés, emphasized to our radio station the fundamental role of his family in the materialization of this strategy which, thanks to the breeding of animals, has strengthened poultry, rabbit and pig production in the territory.
