Matanzas Cuban Women Federation members promote values formation.

The Cuban Women Federation (FMC) in the province of Matanzas strengthens its work at the grassroots level with workshops for the education and formation of values from the family and the neighborhood as fundamental cells of society.

In the development of qualities in children, adolescents and young people, the diverse knowledge transmitted from parents to children, from generation to generation, where history plays a fundamental role, is vital.

Odalys García Pérez, general secretary of the FMC in Matanzas, pondered that the first norms of behavior and social relations are acquired in the family, which is the reason for the organization’s actions in the community.

Garcia stressed that in the delegations and blocks of the women’s organization in the territory, actions are taken to strengthen the relationship between school and home through the paradigms of our heroines.
