Under the leadership of the first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in the province of Matanzas, Mario Sabines Lorenzo, the municipal bureau of this structure met, with the participation of members of the secretariat and representatives of various political and mass organizations in Pedro Betancourt.

Issues such as the management of complaints and proposals of the population during the year 2024 and the results of the actions implemented to advance in terms of macroeconomic stabilization, the banking process and fiscal measures were the most discussed at the meeting.

In this instance, emphasis was made on the need to improve the services offered to the people and strengthen the attention to people in vulnerable situations, in order to ensure greater social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the people of  Pedro Betancourt.

Likewise, the importance of promoting food production and the exploitation of endogenous resources in order to enhance self-sufficiency and, consequently, the socioeconomic development of the town was also highlighted.
