The act of welcoming the new school year in Pedro Betancourt evidenced the joint work of the actors involved in the achievement of a comprehensive and quality education, capable of promoting local development.

Students and teachers of this municipality embraced with enthusiasm and commitment the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year, starting a new stage of learning and academic growth in the different educational institutions of the locality.

The municipal ceremony, which took place at the Leonor Pérez Cabrera Polytechnic School, was presided over by the highest political and governmental authorities, as well as provincial and territorial representatives of the educational sector.

The event became a scenario to ponder those goals and projects to be materialized in favor of a school year aimed at improving the teaching-educational process, as stated by Taimí García Cartaya, director of the facility.
