Suchel-Jovel receives status from Colectivo Victoria.

The Base Business Unit (UEB) Suchel-Jovel, the only liquid detergent manufacturing industry in the country, has just been recognized with the status of Victory Collective, granted by the National Union of Industrial Workers (SNTI), the Light Industry Business Group and the Ministry of that sector.

In this way, UEB received its award for the results of the socialist emulation corresponding to the year 2022, a period in which the factory was unable to maintain the superior category of National Vanguard (VN), conquered by the balances of 2021.

In the evaluated stage, the lack of raw material deprived this collective of satisfying the plans, so its low activity levels were not enough to be awarded the VN that the National Secretariat of the Workers’ Central of Cuba awards to centers with high efficiency in the fulfillment of their orders.

The Victory Collective now came to honor the integral merits of a UEB that has been notorious for its sustained economic stability, industrial culture and social outreach, which transcends the walls of its headquarters to extend support to the community.

«Proud and more committed to future goals we received today the Condition of Victory Collective for the results in socialist emulation during the year 2022, a recognition of the commitment and effort of the workers of our entity,» so posted UEB Suchel-Jovel in its account on the social network Facebook.

«We are in the presence of exemplary managers and employees. They are an inspiration for the rest of the campuses in Matanzas,» said Dairami Peraza Pérez, secretary general of the SNTI in the province.

The best-performing men and women were honored in an activity that also praised the resilience and innovative capacity of a plant where a line was recently incorporated as part of the bet to continue rescuing lines, creating productive chains, inserting in the freely convertible currency (CLC) market and in electronic commerce.

«We are doing nothing more than applying some of the 43 measures to strengthen the business sector, which will strengthen our financial assets to undertake other investments, disburse more income to workers and, of course, raise the contribution to the nation’s economy,» Raul Mendez Gonzalez, director of the entity, said some time ago.

With the Ministry of Domestic Trade as its main client, Suchel-Jovel is responsible for manufacturing 30 percent of the soap distributed in the regulated family basket and as part of its diversification it is already successfully inserted in the retail trade of TRD and CIMEX.

The creation of an intensive organic garden and an intensive vegetable garden speak of how much is being done there for the attention to the workforce, now benefiting from the Zapaticos Blancos children’s house, designed to serve the children of workers, happy with the operation of this variant of early childhood education, which will undoubtedly contribute to greater welfare and productive balances.
