Pedro Betancourt assures the assembly process of the 64th anniversary of the OPJM.

Royslán Cámbara, first secretary of the party structure in the town, stressed the importance of continuing to rescue those actions that, from teaching and learning, have a positive and direct impact on the population.

With the aim of ensuring the success of the 64th anniversary assembly process of the José Martí Pioneers Organization (OPJM) in the coming month of February, the municipal bureau of the Party hosted an exchange between its secretariat and the grassroots guides of the educational centers of the territory.

Ledianys Mejías González, secretary of the Young Communist League in the locality, explained that the event is made up of four stages which, under the slogans Dreaming my space, Building my dream, Committed we think and Let’s dream, will be carried out at the levels of detachment, pioneer collective, municipality and province, respectively.

Mejías González also specified that the fundamental ideas will be study as the top duty of the pioneers, vocational training and professional orientation and permanent knowledge of the Island’s history, as well as the pioneer protagonism in the internal functioning of the organization, group projects with an impact on the family and the community, the rejection of inappropriate behaviors within the centers and society, and food sovereignty from an early age.

On the other hand, Royslán Cámbara Sosa, first secretary of the party structure in the town, emphasized the multiple strategies that, despite the challenges facing the nation, are being developed to ensure the effective implementation of the process, while stressing the importance of continuing to rescue those actions that, from teaching and learning, have a positive and direct impact on the population.

It is worth mentioning that the assembly process is dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the approval of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the 64th, 66th, 97th and 130th anniversaries of the creation of the OPJM, the Triumph of the Revolution, the birth of Ernesto Che Guevara and the fall of the Apostle in combat, in that order.
