The city of Matanzas was filled with joy and music during the second day of the Duendecillos Children’s Singing Festival. This event, which celebrates the talent and creativity of the youngest children, counted with the outstanding participation of Rubén Darío Salazar, who contributed his charisma and experience to the event.
The Children’s Vocal Performance Festival «Duendecillos de los Puentes» aims to discover and promote the beautiful voices of the region’s children, fostering their talent and creativity from an early age.
The festival, in addition to focusing on vocal performance, involves the Popular Councils, promoters and art instructors, who work with their students to prepare their presentations.
It also commemorates important events, such as the anniversary of the founding of the city of San Carlos and San Severino de Matanzas, and promotes care for the environment.
The children, with their voices full of illusion and enthusiasm, delighted the audience with performances ranging from traditional songs to contemporary compositions.
The presence of Teatro de las Estaciones, directed by Rubén Darío Salazar, winner of the National Theater Award, added a special touch to the day, inspiring the young singers and the audience.
The festival, which takes place in a festive and family atmosphere, continues to be a fundamental space for the promotion of art and culture.
The second day left an indelible mark in the hearts of all the attendees, who are eagerly awaiting the next presentations.
