Educate Your Child program in Pedro Betancourt (+photos and audio)
Various organizations and institutions of the municipality of Pedro Betancourt carried out activities to recognize the work and scope of the «Educa a tu Hijo» program after 32 years of its foundation.
Through traditional games, musical and dance presentations, training workshops and other initiatives, families from the municipal capital, as well as the districts of Güira de Macuriges, Manuelito and Bolondrón, among other areas, celebrated the program’s birthday and praised the relevance of its work.
Likewise, educators from the territory previously received a methodological preparation on early childhood focused on the partial evaluative cut and the implementation of the III Perfectioning both in the Program and in the second and fourth years of life.
On the other hand, Yoslayne Barroso Oviedo, Nursing Supervisor at the Municipal Maternity Home, highlighted the main proposals that, within the framework of the celebrations, were carried out at the institution.

Created in 1992, the «Educa a tu Hijo» program is one of the Ministry of Education’s most effective tools for promoting comprehensive early childhood care and preparing children for school.
