Matanzas Firefighters Museum inaugurates exhibition dedicated to women (+photos)

As part of the activities for the Cuban Firefighter’s Day, the Enrique Estrada Fire Station inaugurated a monthly exhibition dedicated to Lieutenant Colonel Margot Hidalgo-Gato Toribio.

Margot, as she was known, excelled in pedagogical work in the forces of the Ministry of the Interior. She was also a founding member of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution, the Communist Party of Cuba and the National Revolutionary Militias.
