Matanzas hosts the Third International Scientific Congress University Society
The University of Matanzas, in collaboration with leading academic and scientific institutions, invites researchers, academics and professionals to participate in the Third International Scientific Congress University Society, UNISOC 2024.
This important event will be held in the Varadero beach resort from March 26th to 28th, 2024 and will have Honduras as guest of honor, which will allow an enriching exchange of knowledge and experiences between both nations.
The theme of the congress will be «For a learning society towards sustainable development», reflecting the commitment of universities and society in general to the construction of a sustainable future.
The Congress will feature a wide range of events and workshops of great relevance in various areas of knowledge. Some of the outstanding workshops will be the III on Active and Healthy Aging, the XIV on University Extension, the III Communities 2024, the XVI Gender, Culture and Society, and the III Symposium on Physical Activity and Human Development.
In addition, the II Symposium on Technological and Innovation Management for Social Transformation and the III Symposium on Sustainable Agrarian Development will be held; the II International Meeting on Youth and the Challenges of the 21st Century; the II International Workshop on Energy and the II on Tourism; the III Colloquium of the Hispanic American Tenth and the II International Business Fair, which will provide the opportunity to establish contacts and generate business alliances.
The University of Matanzas hopes to count on the active participation of the scientific community, both national and international, in the University-Society Congress 2024, to promote a fruitful exchange of ideas, research and projects on sustainable development.
