New measures aimed at reducing electricity consumption and reducing blackouts will be implemented in both state entities and the private sector in the province of #Matanzas.
These include telecommuting and teleworking in all centers where possible.
It is also foreseen to adjust service hours without affecting services to the population and the temporary suspension of administrative work on Saturdays and Sundays where they are not essential.
Other provisions include the total disconnection of work centers from the electricity grid on weekends, the displacement of work performed during peak hours and the elimination of air conditioning equipment in all offices and other premises where it is not technically necessary.
The province intends to define the consumption plans of the entities, both in the state and private sectors, and to control their strict compliance.
At the same time, efforts will be intensified in the repair, maintenance and assurance of the necessary fuel for the engines of distributed generation, with the objective of guaranteeing their correct operation in the generation of electricity.
