The response corresponded to the relevance of this territory, strategic in the structure of goods and services of the Greater Antilles, said Lidier Águila Machado, president of the National Association of Innovators and Rationalizers (Anir).

The numerous alternatives related to the economic progress of the territory of Matanzas and of the country were evident. The motivation and discipline of the entities convened for the event were also observed.

In his opinion, the participation of the University of Matanzas and the remarkable attendance of the private sector, together with that of the entities, many of which exhibitors showed the results of the productive chains between state and non-state entities, Aguila highlighted.

Government executives praised the possibility of observing at the Canimao Hotel, venue of ExpoAnir, the potentialities to promote innovation programs and projects in the interest of the development of the province.

Águila highlighted the number of young people creating, innovating, proposing alternatives in different branches of the economy, especially those belonging to the Ministries of Industry and Food, who give answers in this way to the problem banks of their work groups.

The fact that ExpoAnir takes place in the economic planning stage of the entities for the following year, allows decision-makers and specialists to appreciate those solutions from the national territory or in the province, not dependent on imports.

This sort of ingenuity fair is also intended for local leaders, including mayors, to interact with innovators and use them to study and provide answers to situations of various kinds, especially where there is no Anir or capacity to solve the current problems.

For the month of July, the closing of the ExpoAnir Soluciones Cuba is scheduled in the country, where a representation of the best works of Matanzas will attend as guests, which will be socialized by their authors.
