The 49th Culture Week began in Colón.

A cultural gala marked the beginning of the 49th Culture Week in Colón municipality. The José Ramón Zulueta Museum was the venue for this event in which different artistic manifestations came together in total confluence between amateurs and renowned musicians and groups.

The municipal Concert Band under the direction of Oscar Rodríguez Soto, Maday Carmona, Manolo Torres, the Musicaribe Dance Company, poets, representatives of the danzón club, groups such as Danz, among others, gathered to kick off the celebration, which culminated with the conga that brightened up the streets of the city.

For seven days the art will reach different stages of the city with activities for the delight of the most diverse tastes and different age groups.

Clown parties, book presentations, shows, tributes to cultural personalities, exhibitions and much more will take place during this 49th week.

And as a closing in salute to the 187th anniversary of the city, a gala will be held in anticipation of the onomastic, right in front of the headquarters of the Municipal Assembly of Popular Power.
