During the exchange, initiatives were presented that will be commemorated in the coming days by the Health, Education, Sports, and other vital sectors in the coming days to mark the anniversary of February 24th.
On the occasion of National Defense Day, a preparatory meeting of the Political-Ideological Working Group of the Provincial Defense Council was held in Matanzas. This group is considered one of the fundamental fronts from which to defend the achievements of the Revolution.
Antonio Víctor González Imbert, head of the Group, emphasized the strength and dignity that the Cuban people possess throughout history as an inspiration to counter ideological attacks and not abandon the construction of the socialist project.
During the discussion, initiatives from Health, Education, Sports, and other vital sectors were presented to commemorate the upcoming February 24th, a highly symbolic day marking 131 years since the resumption of the struggles for independence in Cuba and 68 years since the first broadcast of Radio Rebelde.
Constant are the attacks and smear campaigns orchestrated from the United States focused on weakening the unity of the Cuban people, and in the face of the hostility of the imperialist government, the will to resist and win persists in Cuba, with the eternal inspiration of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro, historical leader of the Cuban Revolution.
