Students and teachers return to classrooms in Pedro Bertancourt.

With the expected return to the classroom, the new school year 2023-2024 begins this September 4th in the largest of the Antilles.

In an exchange with authorities of the educational sector in the nation, the first secretary of the Party and president of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, stressed the need to promote in educational centers the general-integral culture based on the patriotic, political, civic and civic values of the Cuban Revolution, while he praised the efforts of the school to ensure the improvement and quality in the teaching-educational process.

We talked to Ricardo Pino Cuello, general coordinator of the Leonor Pérez Cabrera Polytechnic School, who also highlighted the main projections to enrich the work and the methodological and political-ideological preparation of the teaching staff, about the conditions in which the academic journey will begin for the students and teachers of Betancourt.

More than 1.7 million children, adolescents and young people in the institutions of the national education system will then enjoy a return to classes that, although not free of challenges, will seek to raise the quality and adjust to the economic, political and social context in which our Island is developing.
