Attractive summer sports options in Pedro Betancourt (+audio)

Through a variety of proposals for the enjoyment of the people of Betancourt, the Municipal Sports Department of this territory has prepared a broad program of activities for the current summer season.

According to Zintya Cárdenas Sainz, head of department of Projects #1 of Sports and Education and #2 of Recreation and Use of Free Time, the options include from traditional games to the practice of various sports to promote physical activity and the well-being of the people from this locality.

Miriela Cuevas Ramírez, deputy director of the Municipal Sports Department, highlighted the special activities that will be developed in the framework of important days such as Children’s Day and the 105th anniversary of the birth of Nelson Mandela and the 70th anniversary of the assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks, respectively.
